Guest guest
I've studied with Larry.

On the plus side, Larry is a nice guy that has a knack for teaching a fun class. He doesn't charge a lot of money for his classes; in fact his rates are among the cheapest around. He came up with his own variation of the astanga vinyasa seriess -- "the rocket" -- which contains the easiest asanas from the 1st 2nd and 3rd series. That's mainly what he teaches, and it's a fun variation but nothing too special. I'd say the greatest thing Larry could teach would be how to create a successful yogashala in terms of location, atmosphere, etc.

On Larry's minus side, you won't learn much of anything about the mechanics of the poses, although some of the things you may learn from him on that subject might be somewhat wacky. You won't learn much of anything about proper ajustments in the poses, as Larry not into adjusting people in the poses as he says it causes "codependency" between the teacher and the student, which is nonsense IMO.

There are better training programs available.
