Guest guest Posted February 29, 2000 Report Share Posted February 29, 2000 I read in an ayurvedic book recently (I think it was David Frawley's "Yoga and Ayurveda" that ongoing supplementation with Turmeric is a great aid for asana practice, especially to go further/deeper in challenging poses.<br><br>Seems this would be really good in ashtanga. Guest guest Posted February 29, 2000 Report Share Posted February 29, 2000 I've been taking a supplement lately called Renew<br>(Sierra Health & nutrition)which has tumeric in it. I wasn't taking it to specifically for yoga. Now that I think about it, I have been able to stretch farther into some poses.
