Guest guest
I would like to know what forms of massage or bodywork would be most appropriate for aiding flexibility (in conjunction with regular practice, of course!) Also, in reply to the a.m. food and drink topic, as I am a late afternoon-early evening practioner, I have a good breakfast of fresh fruit and various cooked whole grains(especially in winter) and the a.m. coffee, and a moderate lunch at mid-day. My diet at this point in time is near-vegetarian. Personally, I find that I have to wait at least 3-4 hours after a meal(and not too dense a meal at that!) before I can practice. After practice, a light meal seems to work. I do get thirsty during practice, so I will take a swig of water from a handy bottle if I need to.
