A few more comments. I really think that mental

health professionals should incorporate mind/body

practices such as Ashtanga yoga as part of the treatment

process. Take folks, for example, who suffer from ADD. The

practice of ashtanga, no matter who you are, forces the

participant to focus. Ashtanga, with its radical emphasis on

attention (i.e. the root locks, breath, and gaze) nudges,

and even forces the mind and body to join as one --

no matter what. It really makes me grateful to Sri

Pattabhi Jois, and the others for introducing the practice
