Guest guest Posted May 2, 2000 Report Share Posted May 2, 2000 I'm looking for some sage advice!!<br><br>After more than a year of 5-6 daily practices per week, I found myself unable to practice Ashtanga for roughly the past 6 months. (both physical injury and loss of practice space conspired against me.) But now that I have both mended my body and relocated, I am anxious to begin again.<br><br>My central is question is how? I had been performing the full 1st series and was beginning to learn and incorporate the second series. And now, without so much as a surya namaskar in so long, how do i begin again?<br><br>Do I begin with a routine of only sun salutations until my strength and flexibility return somewhat or do I see how my body responds to the full series (or an amendment thereof)?<br><br>Any insights would be greatly appreciated.<br><br>Namaste<br>Ami Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
