Guest guest Posted May 17, 2000 Report Share Posted May 17, 2000 When I started doing Sun Salutations and simple arm balances, my hands and wrists _really_ complained. It felt as though my sticky mat was too thin, sometimes.<br>The thing is to KEEP PRACTICING! It hurts because you're using your hands and wrists in ways they're not used to, and you have to strengthen a new set of muscles to support them. And the rock-climbing may mean you have to do some opening-up as well as strengthening- either way, the best thing you can do is keep doing sun salutations, and then ice afterwards as necessary- you really should see this resolve within several weeks.<br><br>Namaste,<br>bodysings Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
