Guest guest
another site that has the second series postures, together with diagrams is ;-
http://www.chez.com/fourmiesyoga/sommaire/sommaire.html

th\ e site is french but I'm sure you'll find what you need........

All this talk of knee injuries has got me feeling a bit left out, not because I haven't injured my knee (last injury was december but we're friends again now) what I'm sufferring from now is a pain in the butt!!
That is to say a fair amount of pain in my right hip joint (yes, that was the same side as my knee injury) in particular to the rear, and feeling more like it's in the 'ball' as opposed to the socket, although the injury feels more muscular than skeletal if you see what I mean.
When I hurt my knee I kind of knew when I did it, same as most people trying too hard / not concentrating enough and so on............
but with this hip thing the only thing I can relate it to is going horse-riding!
Nature of the injury is tightness and pain most of the time but easing during practice;- after second suryanamaskarA pain decreases and then there is just tightness during practice ..........forward bends are fine and I am able to do lotus and all other asanas (to my own limit of course) without pain, but when I extend in an inversion for example there is a tight pain in the area described, also when in purvottanasana or even samasthiti ......... then as I cool down and during the day the pain and increased tightness come back...... this has been with me for about two months, is the same on rest days and if I try and restrict practice, and also doesn't seem to be getting noticeable worse or better, what do we think??
