Guest guest Posted July 18, 2000 Report Share Posted July 18, 2000 Does anyone out there do stretches in the morning to "wake" your body up? Especially before starting practise. If so, what are the common ones to do. I've never done any other form of yoga so, aside from half of the First series, my vocabulary of postures is very limited. Guest guest Posted July 19, 2000 Report Share Posted July 19, 2000 I don't do anything besides the sun salutations as warm ups in the morning and since that's part of the series I guess my answer is no. I usually start off really slow and gently "faking" my way through the first couple of sun salutations so that it's not too uncomfortable before heat builds and I get warmed up.<br><br>I've always understood the sun salutations to be the warm up.
