Guest guest
I once suffered with an eating disorder. Thanks to lifestyle changes including ashtanga, I don't obsess anymore. I've found--for me--that balance and moderation and letting go are way more important than the food itself. I've always loved healthy food but have found that taking it to an extreme is harmul to me in body/mind/spirit. Anything eaten with awareness is healthy. Eating when hungry and stopping when full works for me, too. Also we have different needs; we are all built differently. Finding what works can take time like it did for me, but as long as happiness and peace and health ensue--it's good for you and your practice.

Hydrogenated oils for me are a real disgusting thing that I avoid.
