Guest guest
Yoga Mala talkes about 3 hours headstands, and in France Guruji also mentioned it. It is not the way beginners should practice of course, but please also do not just ridicule it.

3 hours sirsasana is, of course, a very advanced practice. In France he made us do about 10 mins headstand some days in the primary series and over 15 mins in intermediate series. He told that once you feel comfortable doing 10 mins, you aim for 15 mins, when this is comfortable you add 5 more mins and so on. Slowly, slowly over the years someone might actually reach the 3 hours. (Most of us not of course)

Just making fun of it right away is like picking an advanced asana from say 5th series and arguing how crazy that would be to expect that from anyone, even someone with several years of practice.
