Guest guest
I totally disagree with you - from my experience, cycling develops (tightens) the quads on the outer side of the leg - thus making lotus position extremely difficult for many people.

Also running puts alot of impact on knees ankles and hips, which when starting to open from beginning practice are particularly vulnerable.

I feel the best complimentary exercise is walking which allows one to consciously realign and strengthen the legs.
