Guest guest
GURUJI'S WORKSHOP IN NEW YORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What kind of charlatan's would claim to be teaching the blessed Ashtanga form and not travel a few blocks to see and study with the inspiration of this divine practice?

The answer: two frauds that are so caught up between their own egomania and their embarrassment at their lack of knowledge of the practice that they dare not show up. Why egomaniacs?

Because Guruji kicked them out of the Intermediate class when he last taught in New York. They obviously still can not do even Primary sufficiently well (I know I've seen them) and are ashamed to practice in front of others.

Fact: Guruji would be happy to teach them but they are either too arrogant or to embarrased to make the effort to come downtown, let alone make the journey to Mysore like every legitimate teacher.

I warn all new students to avoid these veritable yoga criminals. Why criminals? Because they hold themselves out as bonafide Ashtanga teachers but do not have the support of any legitimate instructors, let alone Guruji himself.

Repeat do not buy their books, attend their conferences or study with them.

All statements are my humble opinion spoken with the utmost love, humility, compassion, and in full control of my mulabhanda.

If anyone here studies with these clowns, why not ask them why they did not come. Come to think of it I don't know if any of their students even came. Poor lost souls.

El Senor Pinche Wey
Guest guest
Pinche Way points the way...It is my recollection that on Guruji's last visit to NYC - 7 years back, the two you mention actually told their students NOT to study with Sri Pattabhi Jois!!! Perhaps that is again the case on this teaching tour.
Pinche Way your compassion gives a good sharp jab to the udhyana bandha. Just what I needed.

m.p. Guest guest
Senior,
I was at Guruji's workshop today, it was wonderful. David Swenson was there and did primary series in the morning. I regret that I was not able to watch his practice as I was busy with my own.

Namaste
YG
Guest guest
Senor Pinchy,
Please, please... reveal yourself to me. WHO ARE YOU. I swear I was in class sweating my way through Kapotasana and I thought for a moment... "Pinchy is HERE." I will be at Sharath's demonstration on Wednesday evening. I will know who you are by the painted-on mustachio you will wear. Please? You are funny.
Trinka
Guest guest
Senor,
It's true, everyone was in the house but a few... I accept this challenge. Also, I spoke with David Swenson and found him to be really nice, plus he was in the primary series class which I thought was very cool. I will be the one with the blonde wig and the dog leash. However I am, as Guruji would ask... Fearing? Yes, because all IS coming.

Om Shanti,
Trinka
Guest guest
Oh Yeah... Regarding who came to class; Also, so were half the teachers from Jivamukti, teachers I know from Durham, NC, people from ALL OVER THE PLACE. And why not? Also, David Swenson bowed to Guruji to thank him after class. I was touched by this as I am by Guruji's humble gratutude to those who offer him thanks.

Again,
Trinka Shanti
