Guest guest Posted August 1, 2000 Report Share Posted August 1, 2000 hello ashtangis,<br>i'm new to this group, a former distance runner, and have been practicing ashtanga for almost five months now, in nyc.<br><br>i can complete the primary series, but my shoulders have always been - and still are - very tight. i notice it most in parasarita padottanasana c, and supta kurmasana - especially s.k., in which i can barely bring my hands back, let alone join them.<br><br>there has been some progress and loosening up in these joints, and i know it takes time... but your thoughts/advice are very welcome ~<br>peace, caroline Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
