Guest guest
Thank goodness we all have you and your fantastic example of tolerance, love and respect for all styles and levels of yoga. What would we do without you Pinch? We'd all probably leave ashtanga and go off and become swimmers or runners or weight lifters... I just so look forward to your comments, considering how well you've established yourself as a great teacher and pundit.

Where do you teach classes Pinch? I'd love to come and learn from such a loving person, one who sees the value in all forms of yoga. Even those people who may just be starting out could benefit from your learned and respectable way of presenting your thoughts... you're so considerate... I'm beside myself.

I read the article in the New Yorker and found some flaws in the way it was presented, but I must say, that if I had never heard of ashtanga before, I'd go check it out based on the info presented in the article. But then who wants to create interest in yoga???

A "newbie" is a blessed thing because we have a new member of the ashtanga family to share with. If we tell newbies that differing viewpoints have no place, we should just banish all other types and teachers from the yoga world, right? Then we'd only have pinchie-yoga to study... we'd all hate each other and would breed competition amogst ourselves... yeah, we could then create an Olympic event for it and everything... that's what we need... right Pinch?

Peace all, hope to see you at the Pinch-my-butt workshop this winter... Pinchy will be certifying anyone that can complete his grueling 6 day "be cruel and insult teachers" class. You must write a 22 page essay on why you hate everyone else in the world that doesn't think the way you think, and submit it to Pinch with a handwritten note from your Mother giving you permission to be chastised in public.

Ciao,

Nada
