Guest guest
i've heard from one of our local instructors that PBJ is dividing the 1st series class into different tiers, based on ability. the less skilled are having their practice stopped after navasana while the more capable finish the whole 1st series (all do the finishing postures). has this been the case in new york and colorado? any other insights into how the workshops have been going. our instructor said a lot of postures are being held for much longer than nml while adjustments are made for the crowd. not too big a deal for some postures but less than easy for marichy d or janu c (my toes hurt just thinking about it). i was also curious about whether people get the opportunity to scialize outside of the contect of the workshop. my wife's family is from india and she is a skilled cook. she would love to be able to put together an indian dinner or party for guruji, family and the local ashtanga crowd. we just don't know whether it would be good form to ask him over or how to go about it. i'm sure, like many clebrities, he has more demands for his attention than he cares to have. any advice would be appreciated
