Guest guest
Maybe you would do well to establish another online club for ashtanga fanatics. See how many people join. The way I see it, just as insidious as the dilution of yoga is the attitudes you convey.

Concession: there has been a watering down of yoga to teach the masses. But are you, aghori, really suggesting we return to the olden days when none but MALE brahmins could practice yoga? Is there nothing to be said for social change? For adaptation? Look at the rich tradition of debating over the Talmud in Judaism.

Even watered down yoga helps people improve their lives. Not everyone wants to sit in a cave the rest of their life (excuse the cliche). We do it so we may become less like you--less rigid, less critical of others, less domineering, less fanatical. Maybe one morning you will wake up and ask yourself "what have I become?" Holding hands and singing songs in Spanish sounds like something you would benefit by. You are certainly not qualified to teach yoga! And my goodness--telling someone they are too chubby because Marichyasana B & D are hard???? Are you a nut? Skinny people with tight hips and knees have trouble with this too.

It sounds to me you've been standing on your head so long it's become swollen!!!

And SPW, don't you think Krishnamacharya would role over in his grave if he heard your angry ramblings--done in the name of preserving the purity of yoga?

And I hate to say it but the prices that our guru is charging foreigners are outrageously high--and not just by Indian standards. And you and he are putting down others for making a living teaching yoga? Pullleeeeezze.
