Javra is a little ruffled and actually oversensitive because he currently studies Iyengar AND Ashtanga simultaneously.<br>He is incorrect about my practice and, in fact, doesn't know me at all beyond gossip. Too bad!<br>I am a 27 year practitioner of Vinyasakrama (the name Krishnamacharya gave his lineage)and, more recently, of Ashtanga (the Jois Method).<br>This is precisely why people become confused in the first place.... they blindly listen to others (in this case, Javra listened to my former lover who is not exactly my most favorable advocate) and they do not verify the facts but merely accept something they can easily digest before pressing on. (Quick get a video and start studying, you big pretender).<br><br>When you say recently started Ashtanga, do you mean yesterday evening?<br><br>I study with Iyengar and Ashtanga teachers and I am also Sivananda cewrtified, you left that out.And I've written about this stuff on this club previously, not like your hidden,non-existent ashtanga vinyasa practice.<br><br>The plain truth is you think Vinyasakrama is the the only valid and authentic system out there, exactly like SPW, only different.Shades of superiority.<br><br>I'll be at the Ashtanga workshop over the weekend,as a student among my students.I guess I'll see you and your students there, you big Ashtanga lover! Supporting a yoga school that offers one week certification certainly lets me know how you feel about "authentic yoga instruction"<br>I would not attend a workshop there if they gave away money!
