Guest guest
dont forget that all those who practice ashtangayoga, and all those who study with iyengar trained teachers and all those who practice vinniyoga or vinyasakrama have as their rootguru yogacharya patanjali.... bearing in mind that he wrote in sanskrit and therefore anything we have to say about what he wrote is an interpretation, subjective and a projection......nevertheless he informs us that the practice of yoga releases us from the projections of the mind (vrtti) which he tells us includes all knowledge, whether it be based on hearsay, inference or perception, let alone fantasy, conceptualisation and misconception....so, let us not take each other’s projections too seriously...nor our own, remembering that what we think we know is a major part of who we think we are and that who we think we are is the most dangerous projection of all.......
