Guest guest
keep complaining about our el senor - you probably don't like a good curry either ("i don't want any of this in that, and i don't want any of that in that). Life is a mixed bag. But thanx for pointing out the cut and paste job - i was feeling a little deja vu myself. Hey - but it is comical that to some hanging out at jivamukti etc. etc is yoga. I didn't get around to it the first time so let me just say el senor "thankyou - you pegged it". I'm recycling the first chuckle, albeit a little forced, but i'm remembering how fresh it was el first time.
My dictionary does not have hununculus in it (but it do know the flower it rhymes with) - so help out this rusted english major.

How did the ashtanga site become a beer discussion
? - i might follow that advice of ignoring it... Guest guest
1. Pinchy was saying "homunculus." According to the Gage Canadian dictionary: a little man; dwarf.

2. It's good to have a mixed bag--and I do like curry, especially Thai curry. But there is a difference between spice and spite. SPW tended to say things in a way that was offensive--and it's OK to complain about things like that. Some of his postings were like mental and verbal diarrhea.

Sure life's a mixed bag, but I'm glad "nigger" isn't a word in common usage anymore, and blacks don't have to sit in the back of the bus. It took many years of complaining to change that--even though some folks felt the Jim Crow laws were appropriate.

3. About the beer discussion--follow the thread to Blondie. Some of us don't find yoga and beer (or whatever the "vice" is) incompatible.
