Guest guest
Alan - That was great - Lance strutted his stuff. The annoying thing is that coverage in the US on cycling is terrible: 5 minutes commentary and sensasionalising it, 2 min of the actual race and 5 min commercials...on and on. Anyway, 2 years in a row for Lance - it was exhilirating how he climbs those hills! I liked the chubby german guy that has to lose weight everytime - it's the bratwurst und kartoffeln..... and the hops! Someone should give him ashtanga to do when he is not training. Yeah - you train him Alan. What is updog in german?
Guest guest
Irony of ironies - Jan Ulrich was on TV a few days ago advertising cakes! This is actually true.

It's generally believed over here that the nemesis of the man Lance Armstrong describes as "the greatest talent in cycling" isn't the bratwurst & kartoffeln, but the kuchen. So this ad is, well, either really monumentally stupid or the most cutting piece of ironic wit and self-parody I've ever seen on German TV. Guest guest
so funnny! Thanx for that titbit. But it fits - don't you think. And actually in a sweet way - the man is making more money off of his weak spots. Now THAT's making one's weaknesses work FOR you. I understand he is all set on watching his diet all the time before the next season rolls around. Many athletes practice and stay in san diego through the off season - because of the weather and he'll maybe do the same?
I am a self confessed recovering kuchenolic.
(Now i don't crave it anymore - but the ditch is always near if i want to fall into it.)
