Guest guest
is bad. Do not start 2nd series until you have mastered Primary. The openings are not there and you will only hurt yourself and you will probably end up slowing the process down. Intermediate series works with the nervous system and if the nadis are not prepared, the results can be bad.

You are trying to develop a steady practice. As I once heard Sharath say one of the hindrances to progress is greed: greed for money, greed for postures. Think about it.

ESPW
Guest guest
i appreciate your comments. And I have already been through the ...process...and have emerged to report that maybe because i had done a regular practice with even balance between led and mysore style classes for sufficient years that a steady intro to second(i know i know bad bad bad) really at that time helped to open my back. I had by then bagged first apart from occasional knee bouts. And that my back was not comparableto mosy. But ofcourse if someone has not had sufficient mastery of 1st, second is inadvisable. Also i have had a yoga practice way before i discovered asanas - and i've been through extensive purifications. Maybe all that played a part.
