Guest guest
I've read various reports from medical "experts" stating widely differing claims on protein requirements for humans. They range from 20g to 100g of protein a day. There doesn't seem to be much consensus about protein requirements. I think protein is over-rated. Senor - are you protein-anxious? Remember that Krishnamacharya once lived for a year on chappatis alone and in the years with his guru, he lived on chappatis and halwa. no wonder-shakes mind you. Guruji personally recommends chappatis for strength. chappatis, made from whole wheat, is probably about 10% protein.

The ashtanga practice will increase your internal digestive fires, so why you fearing? do your practice and all food is coming! Guest guest
people's bodies seem to be different and some require protein much more than others. We all search for what that source is and i would like to suggest algae like E3live and seaweed (i blend nori with dulse- the whole pieces for salty flavor- and warm-not hot- water to reconstitute it). Mix in with something good. The green food centers one (green is the color of the heart chakra and the center of the rainbow).
