Guest guest
i would like to echo the recommendation to try an accupuncturist. i have tweaked my back pretty good (bad) a couple of times golfing. i had to be able to function physically so i went to the accupuncturist my wife saw for her sciatica during her px. i was skeptical, to say the least, but i got wonderful results. i don't know if it was the accupuncture, the cupping that you descibed or the directed massage that she did after the accupuncture, but i was back with full range of mation in just a couple of days. like any field, there are excellent practicioners and there are also quacks, so ask friends, etc., for recommendations
Guest guest
I totally agee. Acupuncture is wonderful on so many levels, and if you do have pain like sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. it can help or cure it without having to have anything drastic done like surgery. Also, acupuncture is totally compatible with the practice of yoga because both things work on your energetic channels. The practice of ashtanga yoga, even at my very humble beginner levels, among so many other things, prevents carpal tunnel syndrome, even though I do spend a lot of time at my computer doing digital art.
