Guest guest Posted August 26, 2000 Report Share Posted August 26, 2000 it is the jetlag.....<br><br>BAGS - I found the cheesecloth bags too dense, but if you, after blending, first strain the mixture through a sieve and then put it through the cheesecloth it shouldn't be too tiresome a process.<br><br>Ciao<br>chamoya<br><br>DATES -Fresh dates, soaked (it makes them easier to blend - medjool dates though are the softest and easier on the blender if not soaked. Use the soaked water to blend with the seeds! It is sweet.)<br><br>Always buy everything organic - unless you want your food poison enriched.<br><br>ALMONDS - actually i don't use almonds that much - more often sesame and hemp seeds, with maybe 3 almonds. Almonds tend to give me that sore throat reaction in larger quantities. I've heard it said that all almond trees were originally poisonous(i forget the correct term) but the odd tree whose almonds were edible was crossed with the other odd tree and so we have edible almonds.
