I was wondering if someone could please post the lunar calendar on the planet

I think you'll find El Senor was implying that I,

as he might put it, "wear a skirt" intellectually

because I don't know whether or not new & full moons fall

on the same calendar days all over the

world.<br><br>I expect I could probably work it out if I sat down

for a few hours with a model of the solar system and

a pencil & paper, but I don't honestly feel the

need to try. Thank you for the information.

Maybe he is thinking ahead for future

generations, who (once we have allowed mars to generate an

atmosphere conducive for Earth-Lifeforms) will of course

want to practice Ashtanga Vinyasa in their marsian

collonies? I wonder what the Vedas and Jyotish will have in

store for us in that regard, once we get

there.<br><br>I sometimes observe my practice in connection and

comparison to a lunar calendar. - I noticed that I had the

best practice-session when the moon was completely

un-aspected: Maybe the planets are "jealous gods" trying to

pull our (solar and lunar) energies their own way,

limiting, distorting, and mocking our effort at

self-liberation?<br><br>If there are practitioners out there who would like

to enter into a discussion and share experiencial

understandings about Ashtanga Yoga practice in relationship to

Jyotish (vedic astrology) - i.e. our stellar and galactic

contexts, I suggest we attempt this outside of this forum
