Hulasana-
I am so sorry that happened to you.

What to say, I don't really know. I have been talking

to friends a lot, letting people support me,

accepting offers of things. It really makes a difference to

me. My heart is broken as I am sure yours may be.

Because my robbery came after two floods through the

ceilings of my apartment and I had a bunch of items

damaged, then the robbery - I now have an attorney who is

dealing with the liability claims, etc. This has helped

me feel like I can defend myself.

I am

working on releasing my treasures to the world and

praying a lot for protection. Letting go.

What

does this have to do with yoga? It is yoga. It is

about letting the experience flow through and not

holding on to any of it. I have been continuing to

practice almost every day except the days when I was

really needing rest and then I just chant or do surya A

& B.

I am moving. Some can't do that. If

you can stand to read any more, I will tell you what

a friend told me to do and it is helping so

much:

I had to make a list of all the thing I knew were

stolen and place a dollar value on each item for the

police report and for insurance. For most items, this

was very difficult because my heart was telling me it

was worth much, much more than what the retail value

was. So, I am making two lists. One lists the

conservative, realistic values of each item for the insurance

and the lawyer, etc. The second list has the value

which I place on the item, how much it was worth to me.

Needless to say, the two lists are dramatically different.

Someone I trust will see that list. I want someone to see

it and know. Once I can see the way I have been

victimized, in my reality, I can then become a survivor. I

can't survive this incident without knowing how I have

been personally victimized first. It works.

All

the best,
T.
