Guest guest
When I said it was a holy experience, I meant the entire workshop with Guruji. How can you judge my experience anymore than I can judge another's. I can't say what it was like for someone else. I only know that I never felt violated or touched in an inappropriate way. I had a life changing experience at this workshop, and feel hurt and pained by all of the negative comments. That's all. Others have a right to express their opinions. I also have a right to express mine.

Someone else that I know that attended this workshop who feels the same way as I do about it was truly molested by a Buddhist monk in the past. She took action and had him immediately sent back to India. There was nothing even remotely close to this for her, either. That is not to say that other women are incorrect, but I am only attesting to my own experience which is all any of us can ever do. We can never know another's experience without being him or her.

Please honor all of us and our experience. Let's all practice a little more compassion, patience and tolerance with one another and a little less judgment. Guruji is my teacher, and regardless of what you think about that, it does hurt me to hear negative comments about him.
Guest guest
I think this has been beaten to death. We've all learned some lessons but reading about this over and over is making me feel icky. I feel like I've been reading the Starr report. Can we devote some space on the board to something else?

(I'm not saying ignore reality, I'm saying let's deal with it and move on. Whoever is in a position to stop him-DO IT! And we can all reflect on the fall of another "guru" in the long line of many, once again proving that all humans are human. Lord Acton once said, “Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.” This is as timeless as yoga itself)

Just had to vent.
Ruth

Ruth
