Guest guest
if you have to jump mulabhanda might give you that lift

www.yogasite.com/mulabanda.htm
actually i thought this might be of interest to some.

In some of the recent articles in yoga journal david life gave an excellent way of testing your awareness of mulabhanda. It did involve your (OWN) fingers. Did anyone see that and do a double take and then snuckoff to do the test?? C'mon, fess up. It is anonymous. Ok, i'll go first. I did a MAJOR double take (hello david), then tested.

DIFFERENT TOPIC
Adding to the prior post of that rag yoga journal - (it didn't seem to elicit much response, and although newbies may find it sufficient i'm telling you it is a rag) Anyone noticed that there are more advertisements than writing? one full page ad, half page add/ half page writing, full page ad. It went on like that. Eventually i tore out the pages that had back to back full advertisements.

With these prolific writers who obviously have time on their hands (sic!) - we could have our own journal. Man and would i like to write a commentary on the teacher's trainings out there. (Actually primarily i would like to reduce yoga journal's readership so that it would reduce their sponsors. They have become so greedy putting all those ads in their that it goes against the grain of yoga. I am sad to say i still get the stupid thing. I keep an eye out for interesting retreats with big names.)
I heard that the jivamukti training jumped to double in one year (app $6000 now)(is that right?). It is then PART of your training and privilege to work for free for them cutting stickymats and other less memorable tasks. Anyone want to open a yoga school ??? YOU already have free labor. Guest guest
Chamoya, what issue was the test for mulabandha described in? I'm intrigued. Actually, would you be willing to transcribe the details of the test here? Then we could all do a double take. I have the same problems with the rag as you do and am reluctant to give them money, and would have to order it anyway. But if that's a pain don't sweat it (save the sweat for practice).

BTW, there's a typo in the url you gave, there is an "h" in "/mulabandha.htm".

Thanks,
MM
Guest guest
mmind

aha, that curious little monkeymind can detect a good story if there is one. Actually that article by david life in yoga journal was out of place insomuch as it was innovative, fresh and actually had some catch there breath i would imagine. It was really short. I've been squizzing to find it but so far no luck. (When i do i'll notify you). Until then take a few deep breaths and don't be rattling your cage.

Thanx for giving the correct url.

chamoya
