Guest guest
The article is in the June 2000 (May/June 2000) issue of Yoga Journal. It is 4 pages beginning on page 74. Excellent article. He doesn't say, but I think he is referring to PKJ when he tells the story of the yoga master shouting "Contact Uranus,
contact Uranus!"

For more indepth info, you would want to get the book Moola Bandha - the Master Key - Swami Buddhananda / Swami Satyananda Saraswati. 1978 Bihar School of Yoga 144 pages (paperback $9.95) ISBN 1-85787-32-8

It can be ordered from David Swenson, or from Yoga
Vermont or from Jiva Mukti.

I recommend all yogis, including ashtangis, to Yoga Journal. Yes there is a lot of fluff and commercialism, but if you are actually interested in yoga, you should find much useful and interesting info. And its cheaper and less trouble to just go ahead and rather than go looking for it. And yes it is true that the time you spend on the mat is more valuable than anything you will get from a magazine, book, video or website, but still, don't you want to feed your mind? And for those who must hate YJ, please don't direct your venom towards me, I'm just making a suggestion.
