Guest guest
Right on, Slade.

A couple of people have mentioned using green drinks to become more "alkaline." I think the theory is that viruses, yeasts, bacteria, etc. cannot thrive in an alkaline pH environment, but that most of the foods of prosperity (meat, white flour, sugar) produce an acid pH in the body. I found a quick alkaline-producing drink on the Bragg's website http://www.bragg.com/pepdrinks.html
It's apple cider vinegar, raw honey, and distilled water, and it takes a little getting used to. I don't know what the long-term effects are (although raw-foods proponent Jack laLanne, a Bragg's disciple now pushing ninety, has made it so far with the motto "if man makes it, don't eat it"). Some people claim apple cider vinegar has cured their arthritis. I can say that after trying the drink for a week, my wrists are aching less. But we'll see.
