Guest guest
President once said, "There you go again."
Your disrespect and ignorance is not your fault. As I said earlier, I had mixed feelings about Guruji making his teachings available to so many that are unprepared and often unworthy.

<<He needs a
disciple with enough real love to tell him to slow down and speak more
clearly, to tell him that his speaking efforts are largely wasted because
he's not communicating effectively.>>

First of all, I don't think we are talking about being "disciples" per se. If you feel that way, why don't you show how real your love is and teach Guruji an 86 year old native speaker of Kanida, Hindi and expert in Sanscrit how to speak English better.

As for his financial gain, you begrudge the world's greatest living teacher of yoga to make some money for his family, to build temples and as a reward for teaching for decades in obscurity?

You criticize the "abbreviated" classes.
Maybe after 6 weeks of teaching 2 classes per day, the guru is a little tired? Maybe the students are only ready for abbreviated classes?
Maybe you should enroll in a yoga class at your local gym. The essence of the practice is obviously lost on you. In my last post I implied that you are arrogant and ignorant. You are blind and lost.
What a fool you are.

Your passive aggressive pseudo yogic tone fools no one. You are a bitter and resentful yoga tourist. Time for you to go home.

Pinche Wey
Pinche Wey

Guest guest
Mmm, all this sweet bhakti for pointing out 2 facts about Guruji's tour:

1) His lecture simply wasn't understood by those in attendence -- not because Guruji doesn't have an adequate command of English, but because his delivery is far too fast.

Helping Guruji to speak better English would be easy. One could respectfully say: "Guruji, please speak more slowly and clearly to us. We're having trouble understanding all you've come here to tell us, and we really want to understand all you have to say."

2) Guruji is making a considerable amount of money on this tour. While it may be neither here nor there, it's true. Why then you consider his travel here a "great sacrifice" is something of a mystery. Guest guest
1. If Guruji is here just for the money, which I don't think is the case, people have an obligation to speak up and let him know they are not getting their money's worth. On the other hand, if he is here because he feels he has seomthing worthwhile to share, it only makes sense that he would want to know that his message is not getting across. Someone should tell him.

2. He is making a lot of money on this tour which I think is quite OK. What I do resent are those other idiots who try and lie and twist the truth and make out like its some great sacrifice on Guruji's part. Sheesh. Give me a break. We are not idiots !!
