Guest guest
i've never been much of a traveler, US or international. However, i have traveled enough to know that i am always tired from being away from home, staying in places, no matter how nice, that are not my home, eating what is available. now if i were to take an extended trip, across the world, moving every 2 weeks, never getting truely adjusted to any time zone, dependant upon my daughter to make food that i could eat, i would truely feel exhausted after just a few weeks. if, in addition, you were to make me 86 years old and make everyone i saw along my trip clamor for my attention and favor, i would never go. whether he makes a dime or a million, it is a great physical sacrifice to make a trip like this.

as mr dunham says in his announcement letter
(http://www.ashtanga.com/html/tour_letter.html)
<<During past world tours Guruji has worked at length and in depth with
whatever yoga proficiency level he found in the various countries and
cities visited. On this tour, again perhaps his last, he more especially
wants to see and be with as many Astanga yoga students, both old
and new, as possible....
....We see this tour as a gathering of the Astanga family to celebrate
and thank Guruji for 64 years of continuous teaching and giving. We
hope you will join us as well as encourage your fellow practitioners to
participate in whichever location is most convenient to you.>>
