Guest guest
I was wondering if any of you yogis are into this way of eating. I've been reading a lot about it lately, and to me the evidence seems overwhelmingly in favor of the paleo-diet as the most natural choice for human health. Can anyone offer insight or personal experience on this topic?
Guest guest
I have a friend who's done a lot of research into this. After being diagnosed with cancer, he went on a big detoxifying green foods diet, had all the metal removed from his teeth, etc., but after surgery he found he wasn't getting any better. So he looked into finding foods that were regenerative, not just detoxifying, and concluded that what he needed was raw everything: raw meat, raw milk, raw eggs, raw chicken, raw greens, and the only fruit he eats is papaya. He's 60, he's healthy and cancer-free, and he looks GREAT. Obviously this is not for everyone, especially if you don't believe in eating meat. And your sources have to be impeccable: no hormones, organic, super fresh and clean. And it costs a lot of money. And you get kind of fat, but your skin will look terrific.
