Guest guest
Bandawoman,
If you're doing backbends on a rooftop, then you are probably up to practicing on your own in the mornings while on vacation. Your spouse doesn't even need to wake up. Then, the two of you can go off hiking, kung-fuing, horse-back riding, etc. to your heart's content. Just an option so that your vacation search isn't too limited. Simply check with the administrators of the spa if there's a studio open in the mornings that you can use on your own. I've been relegated to doing my practice pool side, next to stairmasters, in my hotel room, and on the back lawn of hotels (in nice weather)...as well as in nice studio environments. It makes for a great challenge to your concentration, and is well worth it!

- G
Guest guest
Just look out when you're practicing on those yucky hotel room carpets, they aren't shampooed very often.
Guest guest
namaste-
I vacationed in New Orleans in April(jazzfest) & did yoga every day on the rooftop of the hotel in the shade by the pool. Than I swam a little & took a hot tub.
It made my vacation glorious.
Guest guest
Awe, I've practiced on bug-ridden, holey, dusty, moldy, 20-year old, never-seen-shampoo carpets, slatted bamboo, or tile floors in Asia and elsewhere, including our own apartment. These things (like learning the water method) are good for the soul. Shame on you spoiled ashtanga brat.

Guest guest
Ooooh, I'm a spoiled brat, eh? Senorita, you are simply far more experienced in roughneck practice than I am, since I CAN'T AFFORD TO GO SUFFER IN ALL THOSE EXOTIC PLACES.
I'm lucky to have a nice, clean studio nearby, and I count my blessings every day.
