india with kids

my wife has been to india, i have not. i could

see going to india for myself. my wife would likely

do fine as well, but i am somewhat reluctant to

consider travel with the kids. because of school issues,

we would likely need to go in summer time. full on

S. India summer heat or, perhaps even harder,

monsoon would be difficult for kids. i would imagine

there are other factors, like dietary and cultural

differences or public health issues, that would make travel

with younger kids problematic. does any one here have

any experience or advice about traveling to mysore

with children. ours are ages 7 thru 4
