Guest guest
Tias Little did a workshop in OKC a year or so ago. I failed to adjust my schedule to attend (or maybe was just lazy or didn't know what I was missing). I did talk with a couple of people who went and they were very impressed. I got the impression that he is one of those rare teachers who has deep intellectual knowledge of anatomy and "therapeutic yoga". I wouldn't expect necessarily a strict Ashtanga class. I think he lives in Santa Fe. I will try not to miss him if he comes back here.

I'm sure there is no great harm in practicing outside. (All yoga is good). I once went to a class where there was a problem with the key to the studio so we went to a nearby grassy lot. The ground wasn't as flat as the floor but yoga took place. I know that in some places (like Hawaii) there is lots of outdoor practice. I would assume that it would normally be preferable to practice indoors to reduce the distractions of sun, wind, bugs, unlevel ground, heat, cold, etc.
