Being a European I definetley agree with you on

that one. I noticed a lot of anti-americanism in

Mysore because of that. But having lived in the U.S. for

eight years I´m much more understanding of the cultural

differences. There are good ones there are bad ones like

everywhere else. I wish Americans would have more time to

travel it would make them realise certain things.(Oh,

boy, hope you won´t jump on my back now).<br> Even ESP

is sometimes right although any sort of dogmatism is

scary.<br> Hell, I´m a german I`m getting sick of having to

read the word "nazi". Always makes me feel weird to be

confronted with this ugly past.No, I´m not a Nazi I married

a jewish guy...

minority in this chatgroup for language

reasons.<br><br>... further explanations might be necessary reg. the

Mysore anti-americanism THAT I experienced in Mysore. It

never was the individual that got attacked rather the

american society. I did hang out with British, European

and Aussie people. Yeah, I was part of this critical

group of people and everyonce in a while there were

also Americans with us who were able to take a good

portion of criticsm, humorous or not.

person who has lived in Germany for a couple of years,

I've noticed young German people using "nazi" as a

casual term of abuse more than I've ever heard people do

anywhere else. Not a value judgement, just an observation.
