It stimulates the prana but if the seeker is not able to handle the prana, he will be mired in the lower shakras as is the case with the tedious Blondeismorefun and the rather pathetic types that egg her on. It is sad to think that if someone new to Ashtanga stumbled on the site, they would think the sophomoric posts about genital size and sex drive were from some desperate xxx chat board.<br><br>Yes, the ashtanga is a little too intense for some people. This is what happen when people study with a bad (criminal) teacher.>><br>maybe. more likely, for the great majority, it is from being in the early part of the learning curve. creating the energies or prana through asana is an initial step. it would not be too unreasonable to see that not every one would have the ability to focus that energy from the first. over time, experience and teaching would perhaps help someone learn how to channel that energy in a different way. to expect us all to be experts from the get go is an exercise in frustration (though we all understand you have no expectations for most of us) it may be that you are now expert at routing the prana along the appropriate chakras, were you always so able? or did you learn. most of us admit we are not full fledged yogis, we do aspire to self improvement and make our progressions as we can. when you help us, as you sometimes do, it is a pleasure to learn. when you insult us, we learn as well but i'm not sure it's the lesson you intend Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
