Guest guest
Yeah, it's really weird how little info people are willing to share about themselves on this board. It's also unbelievable that almost no one lists their email address. Like listing a web-based email address is somehow a problem.

Don't we want to connect? Doug Rushkoff, http://www.rushkoff.com/index.html, likes to say, "Find the others." I am always trying to find the others . . . interesting that seemingly open yogis wouldn't be that way too!

Cheers!

-jg. Guest guest
Try that again w/o the comma:

http://www.rushkoff.com/index.html

-jg.
Guest guest
about divulging the e-mail:

there is always the lurking fear we will be spammed whenever telling others our e-mail address, and many of us use our web-based e-mail as our primary address. Plus, when registering for the clubs, we are only given the option of using a e-mail in our profile (from what I remember). So if we want to give an alternate address, we cannot. Guest guest
Yea. I wouldn't put it past a few mean spirited people who frequent this site to really spam your email address when they do not like something you post.
Guest guest
I use my real name here, and I don't see any obvious reason why I wouldn't want to. If I didn't want my friends to know it was me that had said something, I would question very seriously whether it was something I should be saying at all. But if other people choose to use pseudonyms, that's their choice and no concern of mine. And it can provide hours of harmless fun - ESPW, somebody I know thinks you are Sharon Gannon (I disagree).

I've also had an email address in my profile for over a year, and as a result I've had several very interesting offline conversations with other club members, no spam from outside the club, and no abuse from people I've offended (maybe I haven't offended anybody. Must try harder. Where do I put my full stop now?).(?) Which is as I would expect from ashtanga yogis, who are generally among the most interesting and decent groups of people I've ever met, both in real life and on the web.
