Guest guest
I can´t say I ever had an easy time doing yoga. I always struggled with my bodies limitations. It took me a while to realize that yoga isn´t about advancing physically rather mentally. I probably will never accomplish second series due to my physical limitations but don´t care anymore. Sometimes I can do Padmasana sometimes not. I blew out my my left knee twice, my right knee once. Takes month to heal. I have a portruding disk (was it my agressive yoga style in 93?)and piriformis syndrome. Every time I have an almost painfree practise I´m incredibly happy.I got used to the fact that my body is more flexible around Full Moon and PMS and much more tired around New Moon. Sometimes I really wonder why I do this every single day... I have been never happier in my life before though. I´m addicted to the endorphins.<br>I believe Richard Freeman said: "Always practise with a smile on your face". I watched students in Mysore more advanced than me who didn´t had a smile on their face rather a very tense facial expression. Just stay loose.
