Guest guest
OK. I admit, my husband is right when he tells me that I freak out when people expect things from me, and that is one of the reasons I don't like working. He's right, though I usually deny it.

Another thought: I know it makes a big difference when you love your job. I do hope to someday find work I enjoy--then it becomes more play than work.

Another concern is not having enough free time. I can't imagine ever waking up at 5 to do ashtanga. When would I fit in my practice? I think about all these things and reallize that work equals loss of freedom for me. And too much responsibility, and having to be somewhere at a certain time every day, day in, day out, and having people rely on me...oh I better stop thinking about this.

how do you do it? Guest guest
I'm not married - think that helps. Means I can be completely selfish about my time and I don't have to justify the hours I work or explain where I've been or why I didn't come home at an arranged time. Or why I'm sweating like a pig doing what appears to be a simple sequence of yoga moves!

Guest guest
I'm selfish with my time too (hence my dislike of responsibility, meeting others' expectations, or being around children). My husband is a lazy fart, too. We make for an exciting couple, huh? Don't ask how we make enough money to live and travel--neither of us can figure it out either.
