Guest guest
no need to explain. to me, it's pretty much to each his/her own, survival of the fittest. to date, i have found myself to be something of a hypocrit on reacreationals because i have enjoyed drinking wine, beer or whatever. kind of a fine line between saying one thing is okay when another is not. i have pulled back quite a bit since ramping up my practice. the ashtanga practice is physically hard enough for me (what kind of light weight am i, you ask) that i really don't want to drink prior. i'm glad actually. it was becoming easy to have a drink or two for the sake of having a drink or two. in my family, that drink or two has led to more than our fair share of alcoholics. my problem now is, what do i do with the wine i spent the last 10 yrs collecting if i'm not going to drink it? kind of like what do i do with all my surf stuff now that i never get out in the water anymore, except the wine cost more to get and to store.<br>so, things change. not my place really to judge others' choices (though i find it hard to be objective about urine abuse--that needs to nipped in the bud, toot sweet.)
