I simply DO NOT UNDERSTAND why people continue to

suggest that BBBirch teaches Ashtanga Yoga. Whatever it

is they want to call it... They do not do Ashtanga!

What is so difficult to understand about that? Go

there if you want, but it is not Ashtanga, it is

DIFFERENT. Not good, better, bad or worse, just different so

not the same, so not Ashtanga.<br><br>Ashtanga Yoga

has a homepage and it lists all of the people who

teach. You can get there right from this site by

clicking on 'founding member's homepage'. You will know

you are there because there is a picture of Pattabhi

Jois right there on the first page. BBB is not listed

on the teacher list and NEVER WILL BE beause she

does not teach Ashtanga. Niether are most of the

people who teach at Jivamukti.<br><br>The places to go

are listed right there under NEW YORK.<br><br>If you

are in a city where there is no listing, call and ask

someone who is listed in a nearby city for a

recommendation. Often there are new teachers or students of

theirs teaching or running practice groups in places not

yet listed on the Ashtanga website.<br><br>For your

further information, most of the ashtanga teachers at

Jivamukti take classes at the school down the street which

is listed on the ASHTANGA website. You can take

classes there too, but since things are getting very

crowded, please, please, please go to Jivamukti or to BBB
