Guest guest Posted October 13, 2000 Report Share Posted October 13, 2000 The traditional reason for Saturday off is the association with its ruling planet Saturn.In the Vedic astrological system each day has a planetary lord. In practice I tend to give moon days and the ladies days a priority and will sometimes practice on Saturday to avoid too many days off when all these days come at once. I asked earlier; perhaps everyone thought I was being facetious?<br><br>Another legitimate question: "When the painters are in," do you take just the heavier days off, or the whole time they're in?
