Guest guest
I was wondering who out there might be interested in remaining t-shirts from guruji's world tour. I was practicing with guruji from encinitas to kauai and maui and sold over 600 shirts-- many of which went to guruji's granddaughter. At any rate, they are based on original oil portraits (done by my own hand) of guruji in namaste at age 60 (from archival reference) and krishnamacharya at age 100 also in namaste. They come in

Guest guest
Only a fool would allow himself to get ripped off for these stupid t-shirts.

El Senor boycotted them in each locale where he took guruji's workshop (he's not telling you where though)

ESPW
Guest guest
Ah, Senor - We all already know that laproxdoc is a fool. True, the t-shirts were overpriced and it also bothered me that the vendor was selling them in the back of the room in Carlsbad and not out on his mat practicing with the rest of us under the guidance of Guruji. But for all I knew maybe he was practicing some way advanced series with Sharath later in the day. On the other hand, I bought 4 and love to practice in them; wearing them I remain inspired from the workshop. I hope to look just like Krishnamacharya some day. If you check my foto on my profile you'll see that I have quite some distance to go.
Thanks for keeping things focused around here. Guest guest
in defense of the t-shirt man.
mike, mr lerner, the t-shirt man did practice each day that i was there. he was in the 9:00 group and has an advanced practice, at least to my novice eye. he was very respectful of guruji and sharath--i was watching him as he appeared to ask their permission to sell the shirts at the workshop--correct me if i'm wrong jonathan. the design of the picture is quite nice. mine faded a little too soon but i wsn't looking for a lifelong memento. i am debating trying to get one of theprints for my wall. if i can't be artistically creative, i can at least support those whose work i do like. creativity-by-proxy as it were.
