Guest guest
Skinnda, I regret that you backed down so quickly from a point well made. Thousands of people actually log on here a day to check out this ashtanga yoga message board and they are in turn forced to dredge through reams of personal anecdotes of babbling winos who enjoy posting for a crowd what could easily (and more respectfully)be exchanged by personal email.
Honestly those of you who know who you are, choose wisely what is appropriate for the board and what would be more appreciated by your new epals on their own email. Two or three people are setting the tone on this board and they are not teachers, have never travelled to Mysore and are relatively new practitioners. I would guess that if there was less idle chatter posted, it would be an invitation for more experienced students and teachers to share.
Missy pinky knows she will be immediately unpopular for this post - but its not personal. She's just thinking of the greater good for the greater cause - the practice and joys of ashtanga yoga!
your friend in yoga, m.p.
Guest guest
mp is right about keeping to the point, but really what is to stop you and the other senior ashtangi students/teachers from posting? or are you just placing convenient blame on others for the lack of pithy posts? Guest guest
sun, plenty of pithy posts--perhaps a paucity of pertinent posts
