Guest guest
Guruji has responded to this question several times. He says that when children are small let them watch their parents practise yoga and play at the asanas on their own. Do not give children adjustments or formal instruction in the asanas - nor should you discourage them from exploring playfully on their own. Formal instruction in the ashtanga method should not begin before the age of 12. Starting at this time, a child can take classes, recieve instruction and adjustments and practice in a manner that is according to the tradtional system.<br>yours, m.p.
