(We too enjoy tandem rides - except I get to go on the front as my wife cannot ride a bike!!)<br><br>Still, maybe you can finally settle a point of conflict. I was once told by an ashtanga teacher that it was OK to keep the bandhas all through your waking life. At the time I was going through a fanatical yoga phase and was keen to be "doing" something yogic every minute of the day so this appealed to me. I've got things more in proportion now.<br><br>Recently though, I put the question to my present teacher, and he said you should only actively engage them to cope with stress, heavy lifting, strenuous activity, etc. and that the rest of the time you should forget them.<br><br>Any opinions?
