Guest guest
Re: Nader. I personally don't see Nader as a spoiler. What use is it? People surely have a right to vote for Nader and he has a right to run (although don't you think he'd be more likely to get elected to the House or Senate before launching himself into the Oval Office?). That brings me to why people think Nader should become president. He has no experience in federal office, and the Greens represent a very small group of people. Essentially, the Greens are a good balance for the religious right. Neither of these groups are encompassing enough to represent the country as a whole. But if Green Party candidates were realistic rather than idealistic and cynical, then perhaps they'd get elected to enough local and state offices to begin making the changes they purport to want.

If people are mocking the current state of election affairs in the US, why? Rarely is a race so close that it comes down to a handful of votes, and because of that we do need to be patient and wait for all of the ballots to be counted to determine who the prez is. What's the hurry, and why is it such a bad thing to not know yet? Anyway, it's exciting!
