Guest guest
We are maybe 1/2 way there as far as material goes, perhaps further.

we have 45 minute interviews with a number of senior Ashtanga teachers including Richard Freeman, Tim Miller and Chuck Miller - some of these are truly inspirational.

I have it in mind to edit together the interviews of these three for a screening in NYC sometime in the next few months. I haven't checked in with Tim and Chuck about this yet - so if either one of you is takeitup2000 - is that OK? I'll show you a pre-view first, of course.

We have extensive coverage of Guruji's New York workshop as well as Sharaths Demonstration. We're going back to Mysore in January to shoot some more.

We had wanted to go to Hawaii to interview all those original practioners - hopefully we'll get the money together to do that.

We've had two generous benefactors without whom none of this would have been possible. More benefactors always welcome. Also any footage of Guruji anyone can spare would be much appreciated.
Guest guest
I took some video of Guruji and Sharath in Carlsbad - probably not very good and certainly not at all professionally done - but you are welcome to a copy of it. I will drop off a VHS tape and a CD-ROM of stills when I'm in New York City 24 Nov.

Guest guest
This sounds great. Many thanks to all for the work involved. And it is necessary. Up to now Astanga commentary has been of journalists and BBB books which I wouldnt say is bad, but it good to hear from the so many who have long time experience. They have for the most part all been been silent til now!! Hope Talkitup (lol) is part of the interviews. Get out there big guy.
